Jeff Evanson
Jeff Evanson is an innovative marketing and business leader with successful outcomes developing and launching new products and therapies. He has a broad range of experience leading projects and building teams to identify share advantaged growth opportunities by developing new products in a competitive environment as well as leveraging existing technology to expand into new therapeutic areas (both novel and indication expansion). Jeff also has significant experience assessing new market opportunities, including deal valuation and structure for new and emerging therapies.
Currently, Jeff is the Global Director of Pharmaceutical Retina at Alcon Laboratories in Forth Worth, Texas. Prior to joining Alcon, Jeff was Marketing Director, Drug Delivery Therapies for Medtronic, Inc. During his 10 year career there, he also held roles in new ventures & market development responsible for products and therapies in development and in the marketplace. Jeff also has work experience in project management and pharmaceutical sales.
Jeff has successfully interacted with FDA and with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) with projects in Phase I stage(s) through commercialization and life cycle management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Garrett O’Connell
Garrett O’Connell is the VP of Marketing and Sales for Notal Vision, an ophthalmic company that developed the first teleconnected home monitoring system for patients with macular degeneration. This patented new technology, the ForeseeHome AMD Monitoring Program™, is available through select eye care practices in the U.S. at this time. Garrett manages Notal Vision’s U.S. office and distribution center in St. Louis, MO.
Garrett has 22 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry in the areas of marketing, sales, and business development. Prior to joining Notal Vision, he held management and sales positions with Sightpath Medical, Laser Diagnostic Technologies, Optos, Zeiss Humphrey and Storz Instrument Co.
Garrett is a graduate of St. Louis University with a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing. He has completed executive training programs at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the American Management Association. A husband and father of four daughters, Garrett remains active in his spare time. He volunteers with his local youth athletic association coaching soccer and plays golf.

Steve Bettis
Mr. Bettis is
President and Co-founder of our company since August 2008. Prior to Eyetech
Inc. Mr. Bettis was the Executive Director of National Sales with (OSI) Eyetech
Pharmaceuticals and Eyetech Pharmaceuticals. He has held various senior
leadership positions throughout his 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry,
including Regional Sales Manager at Sanofi-Synthelabo, Associate Director of
Sales at Elan Pharmaceuticals and Managed Care at TAP Pharmaceuticals.

Scott Jones
Scott Jones joined QLT in 2009 and was appointed as President of QLT
Ophthalmics Inc. (QOI) in June of 2010. QOI is a wholly owned subsidiary
of QLT and is primarily responsible for all commercial activities in the United
States. Mr. Jones is a 20 plus year veteran of the pharmaceutical
industry and has spent much of that time focusing on two principle areas:
ophthalmics and health care policy. Prior to his current responsibilities
at QLT, Mr. Jones held several senior positions at Novartis including Executive
Director of Health Policy, Executive Director of Market Access for Ophthalmics,
and Director of Government Affairs for Ophthalmics. Mr. Jones holds
Master's degrees in Health Policy and Public Administration from the University
of Florida, and he also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
